The boring page, written like a human
What this site remembers
Your browser holds a random ID (a string of letters and numbers, nothing about who you are) so your checklists and audit answers are still here when you come back. That's the whole trick. If you clear your browser storage, the site politely forgets you.
What I collect
Quiz answers and tool progress, tied to that random ID. Your email, only if you type it in and then confirm it from your inbox. Double opt-in, the polite way. And basic first-party counts of what gets used (which tools get opened, which get finished) so I know what to build next. I also note which site sent you here, so the referring site's name and any utm tags in the link, because knowing whether people arrive from Instagram or from search tells me where to spend my hours. No advertising trackers. No selling data. No third-party snooping. Ever.
How I know you came back
Your browser keeps a random id so the site can tell a return visit from a first one. I also note the country your connection reports, or your timezone if it reports nothing, and whether you are reading on a phone or a computer. That is the whole picture. Your IP address is never stored, not in the database, not in a log, not anywhere.
Why there's no cookie popup
Because I don't do the things that require one. Everything stored here is either strictly needed to run the tools you're actively using, or privacy-friendly counting that never identifies you. If that ever changes (it won't), this page changes first.
Your email
Used for the thing you asked for: saving progress, sending your kit, and occasional letters. Every email has a working one-tap unsubscribe. No guilt trips, no "are you sure" mazes. You leave, you're gone, and we're still friends.
Your answers
Joy Audit answers and tool fill-ins are yours. They're stored so YOU can see them again. They're never shown to anyone else, never in share links, never in emails to anyone but you.
Saving your work to an email
If you choose to save your collection, I keep an email address and one strictly necessary cookie so the site remembers you on your next phone. There is no password. Your written answers stay yours: only you can read them back, and they are never used as content anywhere without asking you first. Export is one tap and delete is one tap, and delete really deletes.
