We are opening something in the Netherlands
We cannot tell you what it is yet. We can tell you it is entertainment, that it is built around gezelligheid rather than around a menu, and that the people on this list will know what it is, and where it is, before anybody else.
We are two Americans who fell for this country and decided to build something in it. That is the part we can say out loud so far.
WHAT YOU GET FOR BEING NOSY
- You find out what it is first. Not a teaser, the actual thing.
- You find out where. That one matters, and we are not there yet ourselves.
- You come in first on opening day, and something is on us.
- That is it. No newsletter, no weekly anything. We will email you when there is something real to say, and for a while there will not be much.
WHAT WE CAN SAY ABOUT IT
It is entertainment. It is the kind of place you go with people, not the kind you go to alone with a laptop. It is built for the thing this country already does better than anywhere we have lived, which is being together in a room without anybody checking their phone. If gezelligheid were a business plan, that would be ours.
